01The three difficulties, by the numbers

Read from Robloxchecked by hand, September 6, 2026

Super Bot Brawl splits its main run into three difficulties: Easy, Normal and Hard. Roblox's own badge system is the clearest evidence that these are three separate, completed runs rather than one long mode with a label change: there is a distinct badge for finishing each one, and each badge carries its own award count (Roblox badge list, read 6 September 2026).

As of today, Beat Easy Mode has been awarded 55,154 times, Beat Normal Mode 33,995 times, and Beat Hard Mode 29,175 times, with 17,419 / 10,353 / 10,003 of those awarded in the past day alone (badges.roblox.com/v1/universes/10753604376/badges, read 6 September 2026). Roblox's raw winRatePercentage field on the same endpoint reads 0.182, 0.108 and 0.105. Read literally that would mean well under 1 percent of players finish Easy mode, which does not square with a game that has had just over 1.09 million lifetime visits (games.roblox.com/v1/games, read 6 September 2026): a sub-1-percent Easy clear rate on that visit count would need tens of millions of attempts. Multiplying each figure by 100 instead — 18.2 percent, 10.8 percent and 10.5 percent of eligible attempts — produces denominators that fit inside the visit count. We use the multiplied reading on this page, but that is our own back-of-envelope check, not something Roblox documents, so treat the exact percentages as approximate rather than exact. The badge panel above this section reads the same endpoint on its own six-hour schedule, so its counts and percentage will have moved past the ones printed in this paragraph by the time you load the page — this paragraph is a snapshot taken once, on 6 September 2026, not a live figure, and the two are expected to disagree as the game keeps being played.

02The badges' own flavour text hints at the gap between them

Stated by the developer

The developer wrote a one-line joke into each badge's description, and the jokes get drier as the difficulty rises: Beat Easy Mode reads "Congratulations! You beat easy mode! The easiest mode in the game, obviously." Beat Normal Mode reads "Congratulations! You beat normal mode! That wasn't so hard, was it?" Beat Hard Mode reads "Congratulations! You beat hard mode! Go pat yourself on the back and play endless mode now, I guess." (Roblox badge list, read 6 September 2026). Taken together with the award counts above, the badges frame Hard mode as a stepping stone into Endless mode rather than an end point in itself, though the game gives no other in-game explanation of what changes mechanically between the three settings.

03Picking a difficulty at the start of a run

Seen in player footage — Rox, m8RxOQnF2Xc, 25 August 2026

Footage of an early run shows a difficulty choice screen appearing before the fight begins, with the player waiting for it to close before their character can move (m8RxOQnF2Xc, part 1, 25 August 2026). Neither that video nor any other in our footage shows the menu's full contents on screen, so the exact wording of each option, and whether the choice can be changed mid-run, is not confirmed from footage alone.

04Easy mode: a duo run and one solo boss kill

Seen in player footage — ThatEggmanGuy, QP0D67TzVV4 comments, 25 August 2026, and DigitizedPixels, kEkZIlKwcnQ comments, 29 August 2026

We have no transcript for the one video in our set built specifically around Easy mode, ThatEggmanGuy's "Elite Duo Vs Easy Mode" (QP0D67TzVV4, 25 August 2026), so what follows comes from its comment section rather than the footage itself. One commenter, who says they are the second player shown in the video, calls the run a success ("we cooked homie") and says the pair plan to record Normal mode next, calling it "medium mode" — one player's account, not a description we can check frame by frame (QP0D67TzVV4 comments, ThatEggmanGuy). A separate viewer, commenting on an unrelated golden-skins video, describes clearing the Easy mode boss solo with a Sword Mech by killing the smaller bots around the boss first and then dodging sideways during the boss fight itself: "I kill the easy mode boss by killing the bot than the boss I always doge I recommend doge side and my plan actually work and I kill him" (kEkZIlKwcnQ comments, LUCALIU). That is a single player's account of a single fight, not something shown on screen, so treat it as one tactic that worked once rather than a guaranteed method.

05Normal mode: a full solo clear with the Secret Noob

Seen in player footage — Ws4wm9kHfV0, DigitizedPixels, 2 September 2026

The clearest single piece of evidence on this page is DigitizedPixels' full playthrough of Normal mode, played solo with the Secret Noob character (Ws4wm9kHfV0, 2 September 2026). The creator says directly on camera that "normal mode is really not that easy either," even while soloing it, and the run backs that up: early waves go quickly because enemy health is low regardless of which weapon is equipped, but by roughly wave 21 the Noob's base movement speed falls behind the "charged Titans" chasing the player, and the creator calls a speed coil artifact, or several stacked, close to mandatory from that point on. The same run shows a Cerberus boss encounter ending in a few seconds once the strongest unlocked weapon (the Galactic Laser Gun) is out, which the creator flags as unusual for most characters rather than typical (Ws4wm9kHfV0, 2 September 2026). Damage-potion stacking is shown speeding up a Builder Bot kill in the same video, and headshots are shown dealing more damage than body shots on larger bots, though small bots die in one hit to either.

None of these numbers should be read as fixed game balance: they come from one player's single run, using a specific character, with artifacts and potions active, not a clean baseline test.

06Hard mode: thinner footage, and one shortcut that skips XP

Seen in player footage — DigitizedPixels, HSArixnbwUI, 27 August 2026, and DigitizedPixels, lXW5uffK_Ws, 1 September 2026

Hard mode is the least documented of the three in our footage. The one clip that shows it directly is a short segment of DigitizedPixels using the unlockable Toilet morph (unlocked through the developer's earlier game, Super Toilet Brawl, and carrying no XP gain for any race). On Hard mode, the creator says they are "kind of breezing through this relatively quickly" and notes the enemies on screen look unfamiliar, guessing it is because Hard mode spawns different bots than they had seen before (HSArixnbwUI, 27 August 2026). Because the Toilet gives no race experience, the creator frames it as a tool for grinding kill-count objectives rather than levelling, which fits a Hard mode attempt where surviving matters more than progressing a race.

A separate golden-skins video makes a passing claim, not demonstrated on screen in that clip, that golden character skins make "hard modes" noticeably easier because of their higher stats (lXW5uffK_Ws, 1 September 2026). We have not seen a side-by-side comparison of the same fight with and without a golden skin, so this is one creator's stated opinion rather than a shown result. We also found no footage in our set of a full, start-to-finish Hard mode clear; one commenter on the golden-skins video directly asked the creator to "record video of soloing hard mode," which suggests that footage did not exist as of that comment (lXW5uffK_Ws comments, dospawn).

07What the footage implies, beyond what it shows directly

Inferred — from reasoning based on Ws4wm9kHfV0 (Normal solo run), HSArixnbwUI (Hard mode clip) and kEkZIlKwcnQ / lXW5uffK_Ws comments

Reading the three sections above together, a few points look likely without being directly tested against each other on screen. Speed appears to matter more than raw damage as difficulty rises: the Normal mode run only struggled once speed fell behind, never once damage output, and the Hard mode clip's ease was attributed to a full-health morph rather than to weapon strength. Mastery and Golden skins, which raise health and damage rather than speed (see the golden-skins videos cited above), would plausibly help more on Hard mode's boss fights than on its regular waves, but nothing in our footage isolates that difference. Clearing adds before a boss, as one Easy mode commenter describes, is a generic pattern that would carry over to Normal and Hard, but we have no footage confirming it on any boss above Easy mode.

08What we have not checked

Not known

Several specific claims on this page rest on thin or indirect evidence and should be treated as open until better footage or a developer statement settles them.

Record or find full clean runs of each difficulty on one character/loadout, get either a developer statement or a side-by-side comparison for the golden-skin and winRatePercentage claims, and get a clear look at a fresh account's difficulty-selection screen to confirm whether the three modes are gated in order.

Frequently asked

What is the difference between Easy, Normal and Hard mode in Super Bot Brawl?

The game does not publish a mechanical breakdown of the three difficulties. What we can confirm is that each has its own completion badge with its own award count, and that footage of Normal mode shows enemies getting faster than the player by around wave 21, which one Hard mode clip did not appear to hit in the short segment recorded.

Can you solo Normal mode in Super Bot Brawl?

Yes, at least once on camera. DigitizedPixels solos Normal mode start to finish using the Secret Noob character in a video posted 2 September 2026, though the creator says on camera that the mode is not easy and relies on speed artifacts and potions once enemies catch up around wave 21.

How many players have beaten Hard mode in Super Bot Brawl?

The Beat Hard Mode badge had been awarded 29,175 times as of 6 September 2026, with 10,003 of those awards in the previous day, against 55,154 awards for the Easy mode badge over the same period (Roblox badge list, read 6 September 2026).

Is the Secret Noob good for Normal or Hard mode?

One full Normal mode solo clear with the Noob is on record, and the creator calls the character strong on damage but weak on base speed once enemies outrun it past roughly wave 21, recommending a speed coil artifact or speed potions to compensate. We have no footage of the Noob attempted on Hard mode.

Does the Toilet morph make Hard mode easier?

In the one clip we have, a creator using the Toilet morph on Hard mode describes "breezing through" a section relatively quickly, but the Toilet gives no race experience while equipped, so it trades levelling progress for survivability rather than making the difficulty itself easier.

Is there a way to skip straight to Hard mode without beating Easy and Normal first?

Footage shows a difficulty choice screen appearing before a run starts, but no video in our set shows whether Easy or Normal must be cleared first, or whether all three are open from the start. This is one of the points listed as unchecked at the end of this guide.
