Privacy

Short version: no cookies, no analytics account, no personal data. The longer version below describes exactly what is recorded, because "we respect your privacy" is not information.

What this site stores about a visit

Each request writes one row to our own storage. That row holds the path you asked for, the two-letter country code Cloudflare attaches to the request, the domain of the page you arrived from if there was one, a short non-reversible hash of your browser's user-agent string, and a label saying whether the request looked like a person, a crawler or a scanner.

It does not hold your IP address, your full user-agent string, a device identifier, or anything that identifies you. The hash exists so we can tell that one crawler made ninety requests rather than ninety people making one each — it is a grouping key, not an identity.

Rows expire automatically after 90 days. There is no export, no profile, and nothing joined to anything else.

The one thing you can submit

There is a single question on this site you can answer: whether you have beaten the game. It exists to compare what readers report against the official badge rate, and it collects as little as a question can.

When you answer, we add one to a counter. Your country comes from the connection itself — Cloudflare attaches a two-letter code to every request — so we never ask where you are. Nothing else is recorded: no screenshot, no name, no account, no free text.

To stop one person answering a thousand times, we take your IP address and browser string, combine them with today's date, and hash the result. The hash is stored for 24 hours and then deleted. It cannot be reversed into an IP address, it changes every day by design, and the IP itself is never written to storage at any point.

No cookies, and no analytics service

This site sets no cookies. It does not use Google Analytics or any hosted analytics product, and there are no tracking pixels. Every page is rendered on the server and ships with no client-side JavaScript except the small handler described below.

The one third party: YouTube

Some pages show community clips. Two things happen there and they are worth separating.

The thumbnail images are loaded from Google's servers, so opening one of those pages means your browser makes a request to Google and Google can see your IP address. The video player itself is not loaded until you click play — we deliberately do not embed the player up front, both because it would drag in a large amount of third-party code and because embedding it would hand your visit to YouTube whether or not you wanted to watch anything. Once you press play, YouTube's own terms and privacy policy apply to that player.

If you would rather not touch Google at all, do not open the pages with clips on them, or block i.ytimg.com. Everything else on this site is served from our own domain.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. As with any host, Cloudflare processes the request in order to deliver the page and sees your IP address in doing so. We do not receive that address, and we do not store it.

Younger visitors

Roblox has a young audience and it is likely some readers here are children. We collect no personal information from anyone, of any age. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no comments.

The one answerable question on this site is deliberately built so that a child answering it gives away nothing: one tap, no text box, no upload, no name. We considered a screenshot-based leaderboard instead and decided against it — a Roblox screenshot almost always carries a username, and collecting those from an audience this young is not a trade we are willing to make for a leaderboard nobody could verify anyway.

If this changes

If advertising is ever added to this site, that will introduce third parties with their own tracking, and this page will be rewritten to say exactly who they are before it happens rather than afterwards.
