Super Bot Brawl All Races and How to Unlock Each

Super Bot Brawl launched on 25 August 2026 with exactly two races: Sword and Bomb. Both the launch-day footage and a separate video recorded two days later show the same two races available, with no Bazooka option on the character-select screen (Rox, 25 August 2026, video m8RxOQnF2Xc; DigitizedPixels, 27 August 2026, video _TB3VEL9bwI).

A third race, Bazooka, was added on 5 September 2026 in the update the game's own description calls UPDATE 1. That description states the update added the Bazooka Race along with five new characters and five matching golden versions, and a Rox video published the same day shows a player fighting a new boss and then unlocking a bazooka-wielding character line, though its audio and captions are too poor quality to read exact character names or skills (developer's Roblox page description, read 6 September 2026; Rox, 5 September 2026, video PGS76YQ_lZw).

Each race carries one overall level, and that level is what unlocks the next character tier inside it. A character's own combat stats do not change from playing that specific character more; they stay flat, and only the race level and separate systems like golden skins change what a character can do. That distinction comes from a single video walking through the sword line's golden skins, and its wording on the point is unusually direct, but no second source has confirmed it in those terms (DigitizedPixels, 29 August 2026, video kEkZIlKwcnQ).

Practically, this means grinding one character does not make that character stronger on its own. It raises the race's overall level, which is what eventually opens the door to the next character in the ladder.

Sword was one of the two races present at launch. A character-select screen recorded two days after launch lists five tiers in ascending order, along with a little detail on the higher ones (DigitizedPixels, 27 August 2026, video _TB3VEL9bwI).

• Sword Soldier is the starting character every player begins with.
• Sword Brute is described as something you get automatically after finishing the tutorial.
• Sword Hero unlocks at a level the footage does not name a number for. Its attack is described as a penetrating thrust that follows the direction you are facing, its Thrust move covers unusually long distance, and players separately worked out that holding jump while using its Sword Spin move lets the character briefly fly, a trick that shows up across the sword footage's own comments and, independently, in the comments on an unrelated Thai-language video of the same character.
• Sword Mech is confirmed to unlock at level 20.
• Sword Colossus is the top tier shown and carries an Inferno Mode skill with its own cooldown, dealing fire damage for a capped duration rather than indefinitely.

Bomb was the other race present at launch. Unlocking the race as a whole, rather than any single character in it, costs 1,000 in-game money, 200 bot core, 20 advanced bot core and one boss bot core, according to a single video that walks through the shop screen step by step. That same video says a boss fight is needed for the boss bot core, and the presenter guesses the final boss is the reliable source while smaller bosses might drop it too, but says outright that they are not certain which boss actually grants it (DigitizedPixels, 29 August 2026, video aqRUQ0GGZLI).

The same video showcases the character ladder inside Bomb, from a basic soldier up to a top tier whose exact name is inconsistent even within the DigitizedPixels channel's own footage.

• Bomb Soldier fights with a punch, a bomb thrown while moving, and a self-destruct move that, in a solo private server, restarts the match.
• Bomb Brute adds an Explosion Punch on top of the punch and thrown bomb.
• Bomb Hero throws fire bombs, freeze bombs that briefly root enemies, and giant bombs, and carries a jetpack with its own fuel gauge and cooldown; it is described as one of the fastest tiers in the race.
• The next-highest tier is called Bomb Spider Colossus in one video and Bomb Strider in another by the same presenter, with a stomp, rapid-fire mini bombs, giant bombs and a Mini Bomb Frenzy skill; which name is correct is unconfirmed.
• The top tier, called Bomb Colossus in one video and Bomb Colossal in another, adds a longer-cooldown but harder-hitting stomp, homing mini bombs, a bomb cannon, delayed-detonation bomb drones and a jetpack; its golden version increases the drone count from two to three.

A same-day video shows a player defeating that boss and then progressing a bazooka character up through levels, which corroborates that the race works this way, but the video's audio is mostly music with very little clear narration, so it cannot confirm individual character names, skills, or exact unlock levels (Rox, 5 September 2026, video PGS76YQ_lZw). Two viewer comments on that video add scraps that no video has shown on screen: one asks for tips on reaching "golden bazooka colossus" while stating they are at level 3, which suggests the race does go up to a Colossus-named tier and does carry the same golden system as Sword and Bomb, and another simply calls a high-tier version "titan bazooka." Both are single, unverified comments, not footage, so treat the tier names as unconfirmed rather than settled.

Every race so far also has a Golden and Mastery progression on top of the base character ladder described above: reaching a high race level opens a Mastery tab with tasks that unlock a golden, stronger version of each character.
