01The short answer: what it is and where it comes from

Seen in player footage — 1eU9ExqyZ6M 00:45-00:49; developer notes; _5x1rHEVgSw title; vQP4qH5HsHY title

Exploder Hacker Bot Core is a crafting material that unlocks the Bazooka Race. You need exactly 1, and it comes from defeating the Exploder Hacker Bot on wave 50 of Endless Mode (DigitizedPixels, 6 September 2026, 1eU9ExqyZ6M).

The developer's Update 1 notes state a super boss appears every 50 waves in Endless Mode and drops the material for the Bazooka Race. The developer does not name the boss, but two independent video channels confirm "Exploder Hacker Bot" in titles (ThatEggmanGuy and BLUE).

02What the Bazooka Race actually costs

Seen in player footage — 1eU9ExqyZ6M 00:28-00:49

To unlock the Bazooka Race after you get the core, you pay a total of 10,000 cash, 1,000 Bot Core, 100 Advanced Bot Core, 5 Boss Bot Core and 1 Exploder Hacker Bot Core (DigitizedPixels, 6 September 2026, video 1eU9ExqyZ6M). That full list comes from one presenter reading the unlock screen, so treat it as one recording's reading rather than cross-checked data.

The Unlock Planner on this page tracks the costs you still need. Getting the other cores and cash is the bulk of the work after you have this core.

03Getting to wave 50 of Endless Mode

Seen in player footage — aX3AkX9FzqY title; UjCXJwaPK5Q title; developer description

Reaching wave 50 is within what experienced players achieve. Video titles show players clearing past it: one run reaches wave 150, another logs waves 91-100 with a golden Bomb Colossal. In the comments we read, players ask for help with the boss fight at wave 50, not with reaching the wave. The developer's own description adds: "Playing in private servers is highly recommended."

04Beating the Exploder Hacker Bot: conflicting accounts

Seen in player footage — comments on _5x1rHEVgSw; vQP4qH5HsHY title; PGS76YQ_lZw comments; adityawal6051 and gilbertpaguia-l2f comments on PGS76YQ_lZw; lamineyamaltwo comment on vLLaaeToqvQ

How hard this boss actually is to beat is sharply disputed. Several commenters describe a near-impossible solo fight: "it's also practically impossible... to actually dodge a shot without speed potion or golden" (scotthewitt6529), "you'd last one second... you have to be a golden to dodge them" (minicommanderfromtbb). One argues even a golden elite sword with speed coils loses to the wave timer before defeating the boss (CosmicAbyssAlt, video _5x1rHEVgSw).

But other commenters disagree: "Took me 20 mins but i beat this boss with mastery 5 colossus sword" (Garrapata_Tuck), and "hes much easier solo in my opinion" (giantyangtzesoftshellturtle). A video is titled "Soloed Exploder Hacker Bot in Super Bot Brawl" (BLUE, vQP4qH5HsHY) and another comment claims a golden Bazooka Colossus beats it "eazy" (AditiyaAdit-n9k, comment on Rox video PGS76YQ_lZw). Reported difficulty ranges from near-impossible to a 20-minute win, and all accounts agree a golden character, Mastery and speed items matter.

One commenter under that video says it was recorded "with nerfed health" (skasiw, comment on ThatEggmanGuy video _5x1rHEVgSw), which suggests the boss was made easier at some point, though no source says when or by how much.

Players who lose to it describe the same gaps. One writes that they "always die to it cuz i have low speed i don't have those minigun artifact and ak artifact" and that "someone needs to distract it or help me" (adityawal6051, comment on Rox video PGS76YQ_lZw). Health readings do not settle the difficulty either: one player says they "died when it was st 100k hp" (gilbertpaguia-l2f, comment on Rox video PGS76YQ_lZw) while another says "i got him at 50K health" (lamineyamaltwo, comment on fusionbloxyt video vLLaaeToqvQ). The two readings are about twice apart and neither shows an HP bar.

05One player's view: not the hardest boss

Seen in player footage — PGS76YQ_lZw

Streaming on the day Update 1 shipped, one presenter called the Exploder Hacker Bot "not the hardest boss I can run" (Rox, 5 September 2026, video PGS76YQ_lZw). This is a single statement outside the comment-section dispute above and offers a middle ground, though it represents one player's experience in one session.

06After you beat it: Bazooka unlock and reported bonus

Seen in player footage — eGT3zjcwNS4 comment; 0tE6F8_uG0U; PGS76YQ_lZw comment

According to DigitizedPixels' walkthrough, beating the boss is what gives you the core for the Bazooka Race unlock screen. One player's comment, written in Spanish, reports exactly that outcome: "no sabía cómo conseguir el hacker bot core y gracias a ti lo derrote y ahora tengo al Titan bazooka" (maritzapalmaescobar8577, comment on MichifuGamer6 video eGT3zjcwNS4). In our translation: they did not know how to get the hacker bot core, beat the boss after watching that video, and now have the "Titan bazooka". Titan is the community's nickname for Colossus-tier characters.

Golden Bazooka characters are a separate step. The golden-morph walkthrough describes a Mastery path: "You have to max that all the way to level 30 to then unlock the mastery tab down below." After that, "you will have to complete mastery quests to receive stars" (DigitizedPixels, video 0tE6F8_uG0U). That walkthrough does not mention a second Exploder Hacker Bot Core.

A separate, single comment claims beating the boss also drops a bonus artifact on top of the race unlock: "To get the new artifact you must defeat the Exploder hacker bot boss in endless if you're wondering dawg is hard for new players" (AricheAvena, comment on Rox video PGS76YQ_lZw). No source names what the artifact is or confirms it exists.

07Update 2 and the Hardcore Zone

Stated by the developer

According to the developer's Update 2 notes (13 September 2026), the update added a Hardcore Zone where bots have 10x health, deal percent damage and are faster, plus a Hardcore Lucky Block droppable from hardcore bots. The developer's notes for Update 2 do not mention the Exploder Hacker Bot or its core.

08What we have not checked

Not known

The fact sheet marks these as unknown because no evidence on any video or comment settles them:

  • Whether the core is a guaranteed drop or rolls as a chance when the boss dies.
  • Whether every player in the server gets one, or only some players get a roll.
  • The boss's real HP; two comments report about 50K and about 100K, about 2x apart and neither shows an HP bar on screen.
  • Whether and when the boss's health was nerfed, despite one comment claiming "nerfed health" in their clip.
  • The name of the artifact reportedly tied to the boss.
  • Whether the Hardcore Zone has its own version of the boss and what, if anything, it drops.

Record gameplay of defeating the boss and note whether every player in the server gets a core drop or only the players dealing damage; check an in-game Index or bestiary if one exists for official boss HP and the bonus artifact's name; run a Hardcore Zone Endless mode to wave 50 and confirm whether the Exploder Hacker Bot appears and what it drops.
