01What the Bazooka Race is

Before that, the game had exactly two races, Sword and Bomb, both present since launch on 25 August 2026, so Bazooka is by far the newest content in the game as this page is being checked, on 6 September 2026.

Crafting it does not work like a simple currency purchase. The developer's patch notes tie the whole race to defeating a specific boss and collecting a material from it, described below. What that material is called, how much of it you need, and the names of the five new characters that come with the race are not confirmed anywhere we have checked, and this page says so at every point rather than filling the gaps with guesses.

02How to unlock it: defeat the new super boss

The developer's own description spells out the method in four short lines: super bosses now appear in Endless mode every 50 waves, and defeating the new one is what drops the crafting material for the Bazooka Race (Super Bot Brawl, official Roblox game description, "UPDATE 1", read 6 September 2026). Nothing in that text mentions the Beginner or Standard zones, so reaching a 50-wave mark in Endless looks like the only route the developer has stated.

03What one creator's footage actually showed

Rox filmed the fight the same day the update went live, though the audio is rough enough that this is our best reading of it rather than a clean quote. He reached the super boss, called it "not the hardest boss I can run," beat it, and the material appeared to unlock the race immediately afterward (Rox, 5 September 2026, video PGS76YQ_lZw). Treat "not the hardest boss" as one player's impression, not a difficulty rating: a commenter under that same video said they died to the boss while it still had roughly 100,000 HP remaining, which reads as a much harder fight than Rox's framing suggests.

After unlocking the race, Rox equipped a Bazooka character, remarked that it already "seems so strong," described its basic attack as firing "like a machine gun even without the artifact," and then sped through levelling it to level 20 on camera. He never says the character's name clearly enough in the parts we could make out to record it here. The same video also mentions that the update nerfed "most artifacts and gold variants," a balance change unrelated to Bazooka itself but worth knowing if you were relying on last week's artifact numbers.

04What the comments claim about the boss's name, unverified

Several viewers under that same video, independently of Rox and of each other, refer to the boss as an "exploder" or "hacker bot," and to its drop as a "hacker bot core" or "hacker explode bot core." One comment states outright: "To get the new artifact you must defeat the Exploder hacker bot boss in endless... hard for new players." No developer text and no video's narration uses either name, so this is comment-only evidence, the weakest tier this page relies on, and it may just be players repeating a guess one of them made first.

A couple of other comments hint at where the race structure might be heading. One asks for tips reaching "golden bazooka colossus," which would match the naming pattern the Sword and Bomb races already use for their top character tier, Sword Colossus and Bomb Colossus. Another claims to have hit "bazooka maestria maxima" (maximum Bazooka mastery) after three hours of play. Neither claim comes with footage, so both are single-player accounts, not confirmed race structure.

05Five new characters and five golden variants nobody has named yet

The developer's description promises five new characters for the Bazooka Race plus five matching golden versions, the same shape Sword and Bomb ended up with once their Mastery systems unlocked a golden variant for every tier (Super Bot Brawl, official Roblox game description, read 6 September 2026). At the time of writing, we have not found a single video or comment that names all five, or even names more than the one vague "golden bazooka colossus" mentioned above.

That gap is normal for an update that was barely a day old when this page was checked. The Sword and Bomb rosters both took days of creator uploads before every tier had a documented name and skill set, and the developer's own notes mention a new in-game Index that is meant to list every bot and item once it is populated. Expect the same lag here rather than a permanently missing feature.

06How this unlock compares to the Bomb Race, and what's still probabilistic

The Bomb Race, the game's second race, required a fixed bundle of in-game money plus three tiers of "bot core" material; the creator who reported that recipe pointed to ordinary boss fights, naming Cerberus and Builder Bot as maybe-sources and the game's final boss as the surest one, and never mentioned Endless mode in describing it. Bazooka breaks that pattern: the developer's notes tie it to a boss kill inside Endless specifically, not to grinding a currency total in any zone. If you had been avoiding Endless mode because it is harder than Beginner or Standard, this update is the first concrete reason to go there anyway.

It is also unclear whether the super boss is guaranteed to drop the crafting material on every 50-wave kill or only has a chance to. An earlier mini-update on 29 August 2026 added a different post-boss box that a creator described as dropping from bosses but "not guaranteed," and that same creator fought roughly a dozen bosses in a row on camera without the box ever dropping, giving up on showing it before the video ended (Rox, Mini update showcase, 29 August 2026, video QV9LaxQCkAQ). Nothing in the Bazooka Update's own text says the word "chance" one way or the other, so a similar drop-rate behaviour for the Bazooka material would not be surprising, but it is our inference from an earlier, unrelated drop, not a confirmed fact about this one.
