Super Bot Brawl All Golden Characters and How Mastery Works
How Super Bot Brawl's Mastery system unlocks golden skins per character, with real HP and damage gains, not just a new colour.

01Golden skins are a stat upgrade, not a cosmetic
Every character in Super Bot Brawl has a locked variant labelled golden in its variants menu. The same creator tested this on two different races and got the same result both times: the golden version of a character is not a reskin, it raises health, damage and regeneration over the base version (kEkZIlKwcnQ, DigitizedPixels, 29 August 2026, for the Sword race; lXW5uffK_Ws, DigitizedPixels, 1 September 2026, for the Bomb race). Both videos come from the same channel, so this is one tester's account repeated across two races rather than two independent sources, but the mechanic described (locked golden variants, a per-race Mastery track, the same buff list) reads identically both times, including the Bazooka race added on 5 September 2026, where the same pattern is expected but not yet confirmed on camera.
Golden skins sit behind a second progression track called Mastery, which only opens once you have already levelled a race to its cap. That makes them a late-game goal rather than something a new player will see in their first sessions.
02How to unlock the Mastery tab
Mastery is tied to a race, not to an individual character, in the same way normal levelling is. Level the Sword race (or Bomb race) to level 30 and a Mastery button appears at the bottom of that race's character screen. Opening it shows three quests, and each quest awards a number of stars on completion.
Stars accumulate into a separate Mastery level for that race. Reaching a new Mastery level pays out a flat buff package: roughly 20 percent damage, a cooldown reduction, extra max health and extra walk speed, according to the level-reward list shown on screen in the Sword race video. The same golden-soldier-through-golden-colossus reward line then repeats for Bomb, and the developer's own Update 1 patch notes say the new Bazooka race shipped with five golden variants of its own, so the same loop is expected to apply there too once footage exists to confirm it.
- Level the race to 30 to unlock the Mastery tab at the bottom of that race's character screen.
- Complete the three Mastery quests to earn stars.
- Stars raise your Mastery level for that race, which unlocks the next golden character skin in order.
- Each Mastery level also grants a flat combat buff on top of the skin unlock: damage, cooldown reduction, health and walk speed.
03Golden Sword race skins, character by character
One creator showcased all five golden Sword skins in a single video on 29 August 2026, before the 5 September nerf patch (see the section on that below). His numbers were read live off the screen while wearing his own equipped artifacts, so treat every figure here as one player's account with an artifact buff mixed in, not a clean baseline.
Golden Sword Soldier: base health looked to be around 100, golden pushed it to roughly 500, and a hit that previously could not one-shot a basic bot suddenly could. Golden Sword Brute: base health of 250 rose to about 1,000, with a basic attack reading 100-110 and a sword slam reading 165. Golden Sword Hero: no health figure was read out, but the attack became a piercing hit that passes through multiple enemies, and the creator confirmed on camera that holding jump while using the Sword Spin move lets Sword Hero briefly fly, something also reported independently in the comments under two other videos.
Golden Sword Mech: a basic attack read at least 250, and a super sword slam did close to the full 500 needed to one-shot a target it was tested on. Golden Sword Colossus: sword slam readings ranged from about 680 to 1,000 depending on the hit shown, its Inferno Mode adds fire damage on top for a limited window, and the creator's test fight against the boss Cerberus (recorded at roughly 13,000 HP in that same clip, itself a single reading with artifacts active) ended quickly.
04Golden Bomb race skins, character by character
The same creator covered the golden Bomb skins on 1 September 2026, again reading numbers live with his own artifacts equipped, so these are one player's account, not a baseline.
Golden Bomb Soldier: read at 500 HP, a punch around 100-112 and a dropped bomb around 187. Golden Bomb Brute: punches around 100-150, a dropped bomb around 225, and an Explosion Punch move that the creator called insane on screen. Golden Bomb Hero: punch readings stayed near 100-150; the fire bomb, giant bomb and jetpack kit all carried over from the base version with no clean damage number given.
The top two tiers showed the clearest jump. The creator called this tier Golden Bomb Strider in this video, though the same creator named the equivalent base-skin tier Bomb Spider Colossus in an earlier showcase (aqRUQ0GGZLI, 29 August 2026), so the exact name is unconfirmed; its moves are Stomp, Mini Bombs, Giant Bombs and a Mini Bomb Frenzy burst. Above that, Golden Bomb Colossus is the standout: a single Stomp read over 1,000 damage in one hit and 1,500 in a later hit, its mini bombs one-shot small bots and track targets automatically, and the golden version carries three homing Bomb Drones instead of the two the base skin has.
- Golden Bomb Soldier: about 500 HP, punch near 100-112, bomb drop near 187 (one player's reading, with artifacts).
- Golden Bomb Brute: punch near 100-150, bomb drop near 225, plus an Explosion Punch move.
- Golden Bomb Hero: punch near 100-150, keeps the fire bomb, giant bomb and jetpack kit, no clean damage figure shown.
- Golden Bomb Strider (name unconfirmed): Stomp, Mini Bombs, Giant Bombs, Mini Bomb Frenzy.
- Golden Bomb Colossus: Stomp reads 1,000-1,500 in one clip, three tracking Bomb Drones instead of two, mini bombs one-shot small bots.
05Bazooka race golden skins, added 5 September 2026
Update 1, the developer's own patch notes, states the Bazooka race launched with five new characters and five matching golden characters on the same day. The same patch notes tie the race to a new super boss that appears every 50 waves in Endless mode and drops the material needed to craft into the race. A creator's short recap of the update shows a boss fight and one of the new Bazooka characters in combat, but the audio quality on that clip is poor and it does not name the five golden Bazooka characters or read out any stats for them.
Because no clear footage of the golden Bazooka skins exists yet, this page cannot list their names, health or damage the way it can for Sword and Bomb. Comments left under both the Bazooka update video and the earlier golden Bomb video ask for a Bazooka golden showcase and reference being at low Mastery levels for that race, which fits a race that had only just opened up.
06The 5 September patch nerfed artifacts and golden variants
The same update that added the Bazooka race also, in the creator's own words, nerfed most artifacts and golden variants. That single line is the only description available of what changed, and it does not say by how much or which specific golden characters were affected.
This matters for every number in the two sections above: both the golden Sword showcase and the golden Bomb showcase were recorded before this patch, on 29 August and 1 September 2026 respectively. If the nerf touched golden character stats generally, the health and damage figures quoted from those two videos may no longer match what the golden skins do today. Treat the numbers on this page as a record of how the skins performed before 5 September 2026, not as current values.
07Conflicting reports from players in the comments
Comment sections under both golden-skin videos raise two points worth flagging even though neither is confirmed by footage. First, at least one commenter argued the golden Bomb showcase understated the real power gap, claiming a fully mastered golden Bomb Colossus reaches around 30,000 HP with noticeably higher damage than what was shown on camera, since the video's own creator had not maxed Mastery on every character before recording. Second, a separate commenter reported seeing another player's character, which they called a "golden Sword Titan", at roughly 27,000 HP in a public server; that name does not match any of the five Sword tiers named in the showcase video, so it most likely refers to golden Sword Colossus under a player's own label, and the sighting would only make sense if it also reflected a high Mastery level rather than the base golden unlock.
Both of these are single, unverified comments rather than footage, and they contradict the lower HP and damage figures read directly off screen in the two main showcase videos. The likely explanation is that the showcase videos captured the golden skin at a low Mastery level right after unlocking it, while the comments describe characters pushed to a much higher Mastery level over more playtime, which would explain the gap without either side being wrong. This page cannot resolve which numbers apply at which Mastery level without a video that levels a golden character up on camera.
08What we have not checked
Several details around golden characters and Mastery are still open, and a single day of new footage could settle most of them.
- Names, health and damage for the five golden Bazooka characters added on 5 September 2026: settle by watching a dedicated golden Bazooka showcase video once one is uploaded, the way the Sword and Bomb ones already exist.
- What the 5 September nerf actually changed on golden Sword and Bomb characters, and by how much: settle by comparing a fresh in-game reading of golden Sword Brute or golden Bomb Colossus stats against the pre-patch numbers in this page.
- Whether golden character stats scale further with Mastery level past the point of first unlocking the skin, as two commenters claim: settle by recording one golden character's stats at Mastery level 1 and again after several more levels on the same account.
- The exact number of Mastery levels per race and the exact star cost of each of the three Mastery quests: no video reads this out in full, only the reward text on the level-up screen for the first few levels.
- Whether the golden skin and its stat buff unlock at the same moment, since one commenter suggested the skin can appear before the stat buff is applied: settle by checking a character's damage number immediately on unlocking a golden skin versus after the next Mastery level.
Record a fresh golden Bazooka showcase and a post-nerf re-test of golden Sword and Bomb stats, then compare against the pre-5-September numbers in this page.

Frequently asked
How do you get golden characters in Super Bot Brawl?
Level a race such as Sword or Bomb to level 30 to unlock its Mastery tab, then complete the three Mastery quests there to earn stars. Stars raise your Mastery level for that race, and each new Mastery level unlocks the golden skin for the next character in that race, along with a flat combat buff.
Do golden skins actually give better stats in Super Bot Brawl?
Yes, according to two separate showcase videos covering the Sword and Bomb races. Golden versions showed higher health and damage than the base skin on the same character, for example golden Sword Brute reading about 1,000 HP against a base of 250. These numbers were read while the tester had artifacts equipped, so they are one player's account rather than a clean baseline.
What does Mastery level give you in Super Bot Brawl?
Each Mastery level pays out a flat buff package, described on screen as roughly 20 percent damage, a cooldown reduction, extra max health and extra walk speed, plus the golden skin unlock for the next character in that race's line-up.
Are there golden Bazooka race characters?
The developer's Update 1 patch notes say five golden Bazooka characters were added alongside five new base characters on 5 September 2026, but no showcase video has named them or shown their stats yet, so this page cannot list them individually.
Were golden characters nerfed in Super Bot Brawl?
A creator covering the 5 September 2026 Bazooka update said the same patch nerfed most artifacts and golden variants, without giving specifics. Every golden Sword and Bomb stat shown in earlier videos was recorded before that patch, so current values may be lower than what those videos show.
